Regional entrepreneurs will be able to take advantage of the new preferential lending program

The Russian government has announced the launch of a new lending program for small and medium-sized businesses. Entrepreneurs in all regions of Russia will be able to receive a preferential loan at a rate equal to the Central Bank's key rate. The program will start in July 2026 with a total limit of 150 billion rubles.
The project is being implemented jointly with banks and the SME Corporation. The program will be available to manufacturing enterprises, companies operating in the fields of tourism, logistics, creative industries, IT and scientific and technical activities, small technology companies, as well as participants in regional programs to increase labor productivity.
To obtain a loan, an enterprise must be registered in the SME register and not be in the process of bankruptcy. Another important condition is that the borrower should not have existing loans under other preferential government programs.
