
The day before, representatives of regional authorities and the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation met with a delegation from the Chinese business community in Krasnoyarsk. The event was attended by the heads of the southwest business department of China Poly Group Huayue Commercial Co., Ltd., representatives of Huabao Chengdu Ecological Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., as well as scientific institutes of China.
During the meeting, Alexander Chernikov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, presented the industrial and investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to the Chinese side. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of cooperation within the framework of the special economic zone created on the basis of KRAZ. A wide range of preferences is provided for potential residents, including a reduced income tax rate (2% in the first 10 years), administrative benefits and duty-free import of equipment and materials.
In addition, the delegation was presented with promising investment niches developed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. These include the production of catalysts for oil refining, pumping equipment for the mining and oil and gas industries, as well as the production of permanent magnets. It was noted that the enterprises of the region are ready to supply aluminum discs, composite facades, airboats, all-terrain vehicles and other high-tech products.

We are among the leaders in key macroeconomic indicators, such as the gross regional product, industrial production and investment. This is facilitated by the availability of energy resources, a powerful industry and a good geographical location. Our region trades with many countries. China is the largest trading partner of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. We are open to cooperation in all areas and look forward to new cooperation."
The Chinese partners expressed interest in developing trade relations, expanding logistics chains and localizing production facilities in the region. Following the meeting, the parties discussed and outlined further steps to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and China.
