The capacities are distributed in two locations. A smelting and foundry with equipment for melting, casting and quality control is operating in Zheleznogorsk. In Krasnoyarsk, there are areas of mechanical processing, assembly and testing.

The key feature of the project is a high degree of localization, which guarantees stable supplies and independence from imports. Previously, similar products were purchased abroad, now they will be produced in the region. Investments amounted to 100 million rubles, 50 jobs were created.

KZTA products are designed to block the flow of the working medium on pipelines. They are in demand in the energy, oil and gas, chemical, mining and construction industries.

The company has an engineering center. He is engaged in 3D modeling, documentation development, mathematical modeling of casting processes and strength testing. This helps to find defects before starting production and improve quality.

In 2026, the plant plans to produce 500 units worth 50 million rubles. In 2027, it is planned to increase to 1.5 thousand units with a sales volume of 150-200 million rubles.

Leonid Afonichev, General Director of KZTA: "We produce products for the customer's needs, using only domestic materials and components. This allows consumers to abandon imported analogues. We will cover the market's needs for reliable shut-off valves."

Most of the equipment and components that the new company is equipped with are Russian–made.

The first contracts have already been signed with enterprises of the fuel and energy complex and the mining industry. The company plans to expand its product range and enter new markets.

As the Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov noted, the opening of a new production facility in the region is another step towards strengthening the country's technological sovereignty.

For reference

The KZTA enterprise was founded in 2026. The main consumers are companies in the oil and gas, energy, chemical, engineering, mining and construction sectors.
