The Formula-K company has completed the modernization of the production of paint and varnish materials for road markings. The project was supported by the Industrial Development Fund of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: in 2023, the company received a preferential loan of 56 million rubles under the Development Projects program.
As a result of the upgrade, the company has reached its design capacity and now produces 46% more materials for marking roads: paint and two-component cold plastic.
The implementation of the project has allowed to increase the volume of production, reduce production losses, reduce equipment downtime and inventory turnover time. The new equipment makes it possible to simultaneously produce materials with different characteristics, shorten order periods and expand the range for different climatic zones.
Alexander Chernikov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "Formula K products are an example of how local production meets the government's needs for high-tech products, reducing risks and strengthening technological independence in providing strategically important infrastructure – the road network. The support of such industries is an absolute priority. The modernization allowed the company to reduce costs and expand the territory of its presence, including the development of its export business."
The company's materials are adapted for use in difficult climatic conditions – at temperatures from +50 to -50 degrees. They provide year-round marking both in the Far North and in the southern territories.
The company's products belong to the priority areas of technological sovereignty, are included in the list of high-tech products and contribute to the implementation of the national project "New Materials and Chemistry".
Larisa Starikova, Head of the Industrial Development Fund of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "Preferential financing from the Industrial Development Fund of the region allows industrial enterprises in the region to carry out technical re-equipment without excessive financial burden. The Formula-K project shows how targeted support helps to increase the production of competitive products, reduce costs and respond faster to market needs. All the activities of the investment project have been completed in accordance with the schedule, and production has reached its design volumes."
