Import substitution in the construction industry: a preferential loan from the Federal budget helped the Krasnoyarsk manufacturer of double-glazed windows to double its capacity
Krasnoyarsk Glass Company Real has completed the modernization of the production of processed glass and construction double-glazed windows. For the implementation of the project, the Industrial Development Fund of the region provided the enterprise with a preferential loan in the amount of 87.8 million rubles.
The funds were allocated for the purchase and commissioning of high-precision automated equipment for cutting, grinding and quenching glass, including a CNC cutting line, edge processing machines and a quenching furnace. The company has implemented software that integrates production processes into a single digital circuit.
The modernization has made it possible to remove restrictions on key areas – cutting and processing of glass edges. Previously, the equipment here was operating at the limit of productivity and could not cope with the increased volume of orders: while one batch was being processed for cutting and edging, the assembly line for double-glazed windows and the glass lamination furnace were idle. The replacement of equipment has balanced the entire production flow.
As a result, the total output reached 294.2 thousand square meters per year. The production capacity of single–chamber and double-chamber double-glazed windows increased by 62.4 thousand square meters, tempered glass and laminated safety glass (triplex) - by 82.6 thousand square meters. meters. It is planned to reach full design capacity by 2029.

The company's products have a high import-substituting potential. Treated glass (including tempered and multilayer safety glass) and construction double-glazed windows are included in the list of critical industrial products in the building materials and structures industry in Russia. Safety glass is also included in the list of critical components for the industry.
