Minusinsk is preparing to host the Russian Support Cities Forum
On August 14-15, 2026, the Support Cities of Russia Forum will be held for the third time in Minusinsk, at the Cultural Development Center (17 Narodnaya Street). The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation. The operator of the event is the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
The event will be attended by representatives of federal, regional, and municipal authorities, experts, and representatives of the scientific and business community. In total, more than 500 participants and over 50 speakers are expected.
Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, said: "Our task is to form a national agenda for the development of small towns as independent centers of economic activity and a comfortable life. It is necessary to develop substantive, replicated proposals that will achieve this goal."
Participants will discuss urban planning tools for the development of anchor cities, personnel policy, creative industries, agglomeration projects and other relevant topics. The key event will be a plenary session, the theme of which is "Russia's Mainstay cities – a place of growth." The business program will also include round tables, sessions on the creation and development of industrial parks and the implementation of tourism projects in the southern regions of the region, and a youth playground. An educational program has been prepared for investment commissioners of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Following the results of the event, it is planned to sign a number of agreements.
The united exhibition exposition of the southern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will operate at the forum site. At the exhibition, participants will be presented products from local producers: jam, herbal tea, honey, meat delicacies, seasonal vegetables and fruits, as well as workshops on the manufacture of various products. In addition, the national tourist route "Siberian Holidays", which runs through the regions of Yenisei Siberia, will be presented.: Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva.
