The delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in the Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum

The events brought together more than a thousand representatives of government authorities, businesses, development institutions, financial organizations and the expert community.

The main topics of the forum were the development of trade, economic, investment and interregional cooperation between the two countries, the expansion of business ties, as well as the implementation of joint projects. The business program included a plenary session, panel sessions, round tables and B2B meetings.

The regional delegation attended the plenary session, where the vector of development of bilateral cooperation was set. The round table discussed issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the regions of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, got acquainted with promising projects in this area.

Dmitry Voropaev, Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, spoke at the panel session "Prospects for Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in the agricultural sector" about the potential of cooperation between the region and the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of the agro-industrial complex. A meeting with representatives of the Batken region was also held at the forum site. The parties discussed the development of cooperation in industry, agriculture, culture, tourism and education, youth exchanges, as well as the possibility of conducting business missions and strengthening cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses.

Following the negotiations between representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Kyrgyzstan, business contacts were established and promising joint projects were identified. Agriculture, transport, construction, tourism, light industry, as well as localization of production are considered as priority areas for cooperation. The construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway will contribute to the development of business relations: this will increase the mutual turnover of products.
