In his speech, Sergey Ladyzhenko noted that by the end of 2022, the Krasnoyarsk Territory ranks 8th in terms of gross regional product and is one of the ten subjects of the Russian Federation that form more than half of Russia's total GDP.

"Currently, 175 investment projects are being supported by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, which is designated by a specialized organization for attracting investments and working with investors in the Krasnoyarsk Territory," said Sergey Ladyzhenko. – Over the past 3 years, the region has managed to make a powerful breakthrough and enter the top five Russian leaders in terms of investment potential. In 2022, the volume of investments in the region's economy amounted to 8.2 billion dollars, which is 21.5% more than a year earlier."

Partners from Kazakhstan were invited to cooperate in the framework of the implementation of the integrated investment project "Yenisei Siberia". In particular, industrial enterprises are offered to implement projects within the framework of the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley special economic zone, and Kazakh air carriers are offered to include a transport and logistics hub based on Krasnoyarsk and Cheremshanka airports in the logistics of their companies.

The participants of the event were also told about the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation in the field of exports and imports between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Kazakhstan. Currently, Kazakhstan is the main foreign trade partner of the region among the EAEU countries: the republic ranks 1st in terms of trade turnover and 1st in exports. The volume of exports to Kazakhstan in 2022 increased 1.4 times compared to 2021 and amounted to more than 113.6 million dollars.

The main categories of products exported to Kazakhstan are precious stones, various types of equipment, inorganic chemistry products, wood and aluminum.

Also, during the international event, nine cooperation agreements were signed between the authorities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, companies in the region and business structures of Kazakhstan.

It should be recalled that in 2023, the representative office of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation in the Republic of Kazakhstan began operating in Astana. The main purpose of the representative office is to promote the establishment, development and expansion of foreign economic activity of the Yenisei Siberia with the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
