Woodworking, metallurgy and equipment export: Krasnoyarsk and Kazakh companies discussed expansion of cooperation

In the capital of the Akmola region, representatives of business structures, organizations and regional authorities got acquainted with the work of industrial enterprises, inspected social infrastructure facilities.

During the business meeting, representatives of the business circles and authorities of the two sides discussed promising areas for cooperation, including the forestry industry, woodworking, metallurgy, equipment exports, and tourism.

Later, Akmola and Krasnoyarsk companies discussed issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in terms of export and import of manufactured products in the format of business meetings.

The foreign trade turnover between the Akmola region and the Russian Federation in January-July 2023 amounted to 349.1 million US dollars, including exports – 106.1 million US dollars, imports – 243.1 million US dollars.

In 2023, at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, the business circles of the Akmola region participated in the international contact exchange, discussed joint projects at individual B2B meetings with representatives of 19 interested regional companies. An action plan for 2023-2025 to develop cooperation between the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Akimat of the Akmola Region was also signed at the KEF site.
