An exhibition of agricultural machinery was held in the city of Siping, People's Republic of China. Within the framework of the exhibition, entrepreneurs from Russia, Belarus and China met with Chen Zhi, President of the Chinese Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, and Ma Jingchun, Secretary of the party Committee and Chairman of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Machinery.
The event also hosted a conference on the development of the agricultural machinery industry, where representatives of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation in China presented the investment and economic potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. On the Chinese side, the presentation was attended by manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, the Institute of Agricultural Engineering: Beijing Bochuang Linkage Technology, Hefei Xieli Hydraulic Technology, Shandong Hongyu Agricultural Machinery and others.
"Cooperation with the People's Republic of China in the field of exports, imports, investments, and scientific research is very important to us. Cooperation in the agro-industrial complex is especially important: we grow a large number of crops, process them, and we need innovative agricultural machinery. To do this, we are conducting business negotiations and establishing contacts with the Chinese side," said Sergey Ladyzhenko, CEO of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
It should be recalled that in 2023, a Center for Foreign Economic Activity was established in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on the basis of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. The main objectives of the Foreign Economic Activity Center are to develop the region's export potential, promote import substitution, attract investments from foreign countries into the economy and promising projects in the region.
