The development of the Syradasayskoye field involves the construction of the West Taimyr industrial cluster for the production of coal concentrates from coking coal on the Taimyr Peninsula with a capacity of 5 million tons per year with the possibility of increasing capacity to 10 million tons, which includes the following facilities: an open-pit coal mine; a deep processing processing plant with a concentrate yield of more than 60%; a production road with a length of 60 km; Yenisei seaport with a depth of up to 15.5 meters, with a berthing wall of 500 meters and a production capacity of 5 million tons, with the possibility of increasing the capacity to 10 million tons.
At the end of 2022, the company started mining coal and exported the first trial batch of coal.
Socio-economic effects: the creation of about 1,000 new jobs and the attraction of highly qualified personnel to the region, as well as the creation of about 3,000 jobs for the construction period; solving strategic tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation in the framework of Decree No. 204 of May 7, 2018, including the development of the Northern Sea Route (NSR) and increasing cargo traffic along it to 80 million tons, as well as ensuring economic growth rates above world levels; giving a large-scale impetus to the socio-economic development of the new industrial territory on the Taimyr Peninsula and the entire Arctic region of the Russian Federation.
