Construction of a biotechnological complex for deep processing of wood in the Boguchansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Boguchansky LPC construction project is the largest investment project in the field of forest development in the territory of the Russian Federation. As part of the implementation of the Boguchansk timber Processing Plant, a unique vertically integrated complex is being created that covers the entire cycle of wood processing – from harvesting raw materials to high-value-added products.

When reaching the design capacity, the total output will amount to 1 million tons per year, including 837 thousand tons of bleached softwood kraft pulp, 163 thousand tons of bleached hardwood pulp.

The project involves the construction of a large industrial enterprise with a well-developed supply chain and will create about 2,500 new jobs on a permanent basis. Also, as part of the project, it is planned to further develop the infrastructure of the Boguchansky district in terms of creating railway infrastructure facilities (the Karabula–Yarki railway line).
