The Blagodatnoye field is located 26 kilometers north of the Olympiadinsky GOK and is the result of JSC Polyus' own geological exploration.
The project involves the construction of a new gold extraction plant with a capacity of 8 million tons of ore per year based on the Blagodatnoye deposit. The project provides for the technological improvement of the mining and processing complex and the introduction of heap leaching technology, which will allow processing not only ore with a low gold content, but also landfills.
Commissioning and reaching the design capacity is planned for 2026. The implementation of the project will increase the total annual productivity of Blagodatny factories to 17 million tons.
