Creation of an international transport hub and a production and logistics center for servicing cargo traffic from the main international hubs at the airports of Krasnoyarsk and Cheremshanka. It is planned that a large transfer and transshipment transport hub will be able to transport up to 800 thousand tons of cargo annually. It is a complex of facilities with the necessary administrative, business, economic, engineering and transport infrastructure with cargo handling and industrial production areas.


As part of the project, it is planned to: lengthen the main taxiway to the end of the runway; construction of a freight and passenger railway line to Krasnoyarsk airport; reconstruction of the apron at Krasnoyarsk airport; reconstruction of the artificial runway at Krasnoyarsk airport, including partial or complete replacement of the asphalt pavement of the runway and reinforced concrete base, reconstruction of the drainage network and lighting equipment; creation of transport, logistics and engineering infrastructure; creation of a transport hub for multimodal cargo handling with ready-made road, energy and engineering infrastructure and facilities designed to carry out activities in the fields of transport and warehouse logistics.


Socio-economic effects of the project: creation of new jobs; integration of the region into the global freight transportation network, redistribution of cargo flows from major international hubs; increase in passenger and cargo traffic at Krasnoyarsk airport; creation of a new growth point for the regional economy and prerequisites for the advanced development of the region.
