An agreement on cooperation in the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a greenhouse plant with a capacity of 25 thousand tons of products per year was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

15.06.2023

The document was signed by Sergey Vereshchagin, Acting Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and Evgeny Butonaev, Director of the Greenhouse Complex Solnechny LLC.

The project provides for the construction of a modern greenhouse plant near the village of Startsevo in the Yemelyanovsky district for year-round cultivation of vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) in an enclosed ground. The first stage is planned to be introduced at the end of 2024. The full design capacity will be reached at the end of 2026. The total area of the greenhouses will be 33 hectares. The volume of investments is estimated at 12.4 billion rubles.

With the successful implementation of the investment project, the first large-scale production of fresh vegetables will appear in the Krasnoyarsk Territory all year round. At the moment, the need is being covered by imported products, supplies in refrigerators from other regions and small greenhouses in the region.

"This investment project is of great importance for the region. It was decided to include it in the complex investment project “Yenisei Siberia". By doing this, we emphasize that it is important for the region to develop not only industry and the extractive sector. Full-fledged development also implies the emergence of such modern agro-industrial enterprises. The region is interested in the successful implementation of the project and is ready to provide the necessary assistance for this," said Sergey Vereshchagin.
