Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, arrived in Krasnoyarsk on a working visit. A meeting on the preparation and holding of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk was held under his leadership.
The final version of the strategic master plan of the Krasnoyarsk agglomeration until 2035 is already ready. The document was developed by Strelka Design Bureau. It includes programs for the development of the urban environment in six main areas: transport and mobility, residential and public-business buildings, public spaces and natural territories, ecology and life support systems, tourism, and society.
"Now we need to determine which of the proposed facilities we will complete by January 1, 2028. This will allow you to prepare an action plan for all upcoming work. And most importantly, we need not only to implement investment projects, but also to improve life in the city of Krasnoyarsk, make it better, modern, attractive, comfortable, so that young people stay here to study and live. I know that a lot has been done and is being done, but there is still a lot of work ahead," Alexander Novak said.
In total, more than 400 ideas for the development of the city were analyzed. Among them are the reconstruction of a number of cultural heritage sites, the modernization of road and transport infrastructure. Much attention will be paid to the implementation of projects for the integrated development of territories through the demolition of dilapidated and dilapidated housing, renovation of industrial zones. Projects to improve transport and cycling accessibility, the development of public spaces and the improvement of embankments were also presented.
"In preparation for the 400th anniversary, Krasnoyarsk must set new standards for the improvement and organization of the urban environment. In my opinion, we should not limit ourselves to just infrastructural things. One of the fundamentally important tasks is to make the city smart, the center of technological development not only in Siberia, but also in the entire Asian part of our country," added Mikhail Kotyukov, head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
As representatives of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation noted at the meeting, the construction of Krasnoyarsk of the future is possible only through the joint efforts of government, society and business. Entrepreneurs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are already drivers of the city's development both in traditional spheres and in sectors of the new economy. By implementing their investment and charity projects, companies create high-performance jobs, new products and services, making Krasnoyarsk a comfortable place to live.
"To date, our portfolio of investment projects includes 72 private initiatives in the Krasnoyarsk agglomeration. Projects at different stages of implementation. Some of them are able to make a significant contribution to the development of the city. There are also a large number of investment niches on the territory of Krasnoyarsk, where important projects for the city can be implemented. We are actively looking for investors to solve these problems, including offering public-private partnership tools," said Sergey Ladyzhenko, CEO of ANO Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
