In Krasnoyarsk, work continues within the framework of the project for the development of the Krasnoyarsk heat supply system, included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir KIP.

23.08.2023

The project involves a comprehensive environmental modernization and expansion of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, as well as an increase in the capacity of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3. At the peak of the construction of power unit no.In 2024, 1,136 people will work at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3, and another 503 specialists will work on the modernization of Krasnoyarsk CHPP–1.

The geography of builders is quite wide: they are mainly residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, but specialists from other regions of Siberia and even the Far East are involved. The main professional area is installers, electricians, welders. The scale and timing of the construction and modernization of the CHP dictate the pace at which specialists are in demand: both projects should be completed by early 2025.

At Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3, the walls of the main building of the workshop are currently being erected and the main equipment is being installed: boilers and turbines. This is where 90% of the specialists work. At the same time, a cooling tower is being built to reduce the thermal load on the Yenisei and reduce water consumption from it.

Not only environmental protection equipment, but also two boilers and two turbines of the station underwent large-scale modernization at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1. Steam pipelines are being built here, and electrical work is being carried out. 8 of the planned 14 electric filters have already been put into operation. The main equipment is installed on the boilers — drums, reinforced concrete frames are mounted.

"Despite the large-scale construction projects, CHP-1 and CHP-3 continue to consistently produce thermal and electrical energy. After completion of the work, Krasnoyarsk will receive additional thermal energy for the development of the city. In addition, the environmental burden on the environment will be reduced by introducing more modern equipment and partially redistributing the load from CHP-1 to CHP-3," said Oleg Petrov, Director of the Yenisei branch of SGK.
