Polymetal JSC continues comprehensive development of the Veduga gold deposit in the North-Yeniseysky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The company's subsidiary, Amikan Mining and Processing Company, has reached its design targets for ore production and is preparing to launch the processing plant in the second half of 2026. Prior to the start of processing, valuable raw materials are actively accumulated during open-pit mining operations.

Currently, 27 dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 90 tons, six excavators and seven drilling rigs are involved in the quarry. In 2026, mining will reach 35 million tons, of which one million tons is ore.

Evgeny Pushnoy, Director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Polymetal, said: "The workload on the company is increasing, and we are ready for this. A professional team has been formed at Amikan, and a fleet of modern mining equipment is operating. Digital assistants have been introduced into production processes, for example, the automated Polina dispatching system, the proprietary software of Polymetal engineers. A central analytical laboratory and mechanical repair workshops have been launched at Veduga, a comfortable shift camp has been set up, and a processing plant is already at the stage of preparation for commissioning. The stubborn ore of the Veduginsky deposit will yield the first gold this year."

In 2019, the Veduga project was included in the Yenisei Siberia CIP. The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation assisted the investor in including the initiative in the list of regional investment projects in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as assisted in the registration of land relations and the creation of road infrastructure.
