In Krasnoyarsk, work continues within the framework of the project for the development of the Krasnoyarsk heat supply system, included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir CIP.

09.10.2023

The project involves a comprehensive environmental modernization and expansion of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, as well as an increase in the capacity of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3.

As part of the environmental modernization of Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, it is planned to upgrade two boilers at the station – No. 15 and No. 16. It is through these heat-resistant pipes that steam from the boilers is supplied to the turbines to warm up the coolant. The steam temperature is +550 °C with an operating pressure of up to 140 kgf/cm2. The wall thickness of the new steam pipelines will be increased, and after the project is completed, the temperature of the superheated steam will be 10 degrees higher than the previous values and will reach +560 °C.

By the end of October, SGK power engineers will complete the installation of steam pipelines, the pipes will be checked for strength and density, a thermal insulation layer will be applied and put into operation. The increased reliability of the equipment will ensure an uninterrupted supply of heat and electricity to consumers.

It should be noted that CHPP-1 regularly updates the steam pipelines of boilers and turbines. For example, in 2021, the power engineers replaced 600 tons, and in 2023 – another 550 tons.

Also, as part of the comprehensive environmental modernization at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, two turbine units will be updated, 15 electrostatic precipitators with 99% efficiency of cleaning solid particles will be built. As a result of the measures, the efficiency of existing equipment will increase, and emissions from CHP-1 will decrease by 20%.
