Creation of a pulp mill in the Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The project is a modern high-tech and efficient production with a single-flow switching pulp line. The pulp and paper mill will be built on an area of about 100 hectares on the industrial site of the leading asset of the group of companies – Lesosibirsky LDK No.1. Currently, the construction roadmap has been fully formed, the study of infrastructure has been completed, detailed technical design and preparation for the procedure for obtaining a construction permit are underway. 

The construction of an enterprise for the deep integrated processing of wood raw materials for the production of cellulose and a wide range of other biological products that can be used to replace fossil materials and fuels will be carried out. When reaching the design capacity, the average production volume of bleached coniferous and/or deciduous sulfate pulp will be about 700 thousand tons per year.

The creation of a new production facility will provide additional annual tax revenues to the regional budget in the amount of more than 5.4 billion rubles when reaching design capacity. About 460 new jobs will be created on a permanent basis and up to 5,000 jobs for the construction period.

The implementation of the project will ensure the development of infrastructure facilities in Lesosibirsk, the construction of a 10 km long railway line, the creation of a new water intake for the city, the construction of an automobile overpass in the place where the new plant will be located, the creation of an additional source of electricity (up to 17.8 MW) for local needs of the city. 

The project provides for the creation of a positive effect on the environmental situation through the disposal of illiquid wood in the amount of up to 2.3 million cubic meters per year and reforestation. In addition, the new enterprise will create prerequisites for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region in the field of construction (supply of building materials, rental of construction equipment, construction and installation services, etc.), transport and logistics (delivery of wood raw materials, export of finished products), service and maintenance of equipment and transport.
